Software Engineer
You will work with a very collaborative, high-energy product team to design and build the next generation of consumer retail products. Your ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative-team environment is a key factor in your success in this position.
Key responsibilities include:
• Write C++ and C# code for application development on Windows.
• Help develop installers, build scripts, and write custom code for internal IT projects.

Key technology requirements include:
• 5+ years experience with C++/MFC, COM/Active X and Win32

Online Marketing Manager
Avanquest Software North America, an international leader in software development and publishing, is seeking a results-driven Search Engine Marketing Manager with a strong track record of developing and implementing online media campaigns and strategies with PPC, SEO, and display advertising. To be clear, we are looking for an experienced online team player who has experience in both the management of existing web programs and the development of new ones.

Search Engine Marketing Manager
Purpose of Job:
To increase sales of Avanquest software through the use of online advertising, including PPC, SEO, and display advertising.
Purpose of Job:
This individual must be comfortable managing multiple projects, with strong project management skills and an eye for detail. This candidate must be very comfortable in a very fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment. A “can-do” attitude and superb interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are an absolute must.
A creative and dynamic marketing thinker, the Search Engine Marketing Manager will be involved in some or all of the following: pay per click advertising (for Google, Yahoo, and MSN), Google Analytics, banner and online advertising, SEO optimization, cross-sell opportunities, landing page optimization, and integrated online and offline marketing campaigns.
Reporting to the Director of Online Marketing, this person will provide critical assistance in the implementation of revenue generating online initiatives. This individual may have quota responsibility tied to their income.
Responsible for:
The Online Marketing Manager will have the following key objectives: - (however these may not be exhaustive)
1. Achieve e-commerce Revenue and Gross Profit plans by quarter for PPC, banner, and SEO revenue areas.
2. Drive the effectiveness of each online media and marketing area by performance metrics like CTR, conversion rate, margin, etc.
3. Operational readiness: To facilitate and assist with the timely launch of new products and sites.
4. Drive online media and marketing activities to drive traffic to Avanquest sites.
5. Drive the conversion rates, design, and content of media targeted landing pages.
6. Support Product managers so that they achieve the financial, customer satisfaction and online goals in their business units.
7. Develop new creative for products for external advertising purposes.
Key Metrics:
Achieve internet revenue targets for PPC, SEO, and display areas
Achieve internet GP targets for PPC, SEO, and display areas
Achieve marketing metrics e.g. conversion rates, click-through rate, average order values, revenue, ROI
Achieve activity metrics for specific areas e.g. impressions, clicks,
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Drive and increase the PPC, SEO, and display marketing programs for North America
2. Drive traffic to Avanquest stores
3. Improve conversion rates of traffic to orders
4. Increase average order value
5. Improve online shopping experience
Specifically this would include:
• Prioritizing online initiatives to achieve the maximum impact.
• Work with the other Marketing Managers to develop landing pages and creative that will support advertising campaigns.
• Actively pursue SEO changes both internal and external that will help drive Avanquest sites higher up the Google rankings.
• Constantly expand and testing new keyword areas to grow and diversify PPC revenue.
• Support new product launches with integrated online marketing campaigns.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years in a hands-on direct marketing role - online (SEM, email, affiliates, display, etc.).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills a must.
• Exceptional Excel skills, proficiency with Powerpoint and Word.
• Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently.
• BS degree in a marketing or quantitative discipline, such as, math, engineering, economics, statistics, etc.
