Responsibilities

Write scripts for voiceover narration and use screen recording software tools to create video tutorials and demonstrations.
Skill Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Requirements
- 7-10+ years experience selling incentive-based programs to targeted industries

- Contacts in either consumer and/or office product companies

| Technical Support Representative |

The Technical Support Representative is responsible for providing technical support to customers. The primary responsibility is to solve each customer’s technical problems efficiently, promptly, and courteously. Support is provided to customers mostly via telephone, but also via email, fax, and snail mail. This position also has responsibility for telesales as described below.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via telephone, email, and fax
- Track and report problems (bugs) reported by customers
- Troubleshoot difficult problems to determine causes and find solutions for customers
- Suggestively sell upgrades and companion products while on the phone with customers
- Other duties as may be assigned
Key Requirements:
A good technical understanding of the Windows operating system. Such an understanding must include operating system setup and use, installing software, installing hardware, and a basic familiarity with Microsoft Office. The following technical skills are desirable, but not required: Familiarity with graphic file formats, digital imaging (very desirable), and the Macintosh.
A pleasant and friendly telephone presence is essential. Previous telesales experience is desirable as the Technical Support Representative must also suggestively sell companion or upgrade products to customers on the phone. This is a job requirement and performance in making sales will be assessed periodically. |

This position is located in our End User Sales and Service Department. General responsibilities include answering incoming calls for product orders and customer service related issues. | Graphic Designer |
This role encompasses performing duties of a Graphic Designer from project concept to completion. The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and executing layouts of designs for template artwork. To be presented by all means of visual communications, including, but not limited to software content, packaging, magazines, newspapers and posters. This role includes heavy production development of artwork for templates and copy primarily in media such as software content and packaging. This position reports to the Director, Product Development.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Executing instructions given regarding project scope, specifications, objectives and expectations.
- Creating high quality concepts, designs and layouts for artwork presented primarily in software content and packaging while making sure that the objectives outlined are achievable within the scheduled time and software constraints.
- Being proactive to explore and learn the capabilities of new product software and adapting to the software in preparation of template design work.
- Researching a project assignment subject, before and during design stages, to ensure design reflects a thorough understanding of the product’s subject matter.
- Reviewing all designs and files before submission as final art by paying close attention to detail to ensure final art has met all objectives and technical requirements, as well as double-checking for spelling and grammar accuracy.
- Takes initiative and follows up to ensure all necessary information, materials, approvals, etc. are obtained to keep projects moving along in a timely and quality conscious manner.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, files, software and equipment as related to given duties. Assure work is backed-up on a regular basis and archived securely.
- Other tasks which may be assigned from time to time as required to meet business needs.
Key requirements include:
- Excellent layout, design and production skills a must.
- Highly computer literate – in both Macintosh and Windows environments – with in-depth experience with essential graphic design applications.
- Excellent command of the English language as it pertains to grammar and spelling. Strong ability to integrate words and images into creative templates.

| Product Development Manager |

This position is responsible for the day to day management and oversight of all development efforts for one or more products. This includes product planning, developing requirements documents, scheduling, developing technical product specifications, and supervising other members of the development team. Additionally this individual must add value by insuring that the products produced are competitive within the marketplace.
The Product Development Manager reports to the Director of Product Development.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and direction to the product development group where product issues are identified, detailed, improved upon or corrected early in the product development process.
- Work with product marketing to assist in the creation of product/marketing requirements documents
- Product planning, scheduling and tracking of product development cycles and acquisition of needed resources when appropriate.
- Develop and write product engineering specifications that meet the vision set forth by the product/marketing requirements documents.
- Develop and implement QA plans in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Manager insuring that key features are tested and that products certified to be ready to ship; are in fact ready to ship.
- Provide editorial oversight in the development of user documentation; help system and ancillary items necessary for production.
- Work closely with in house and out of house developers; leading them to a successful product deliverable by cooperatively working together on product features and prioritization of software development change requests.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Key requirements include:
Marketing and software technical background, self-managed proactive work style, experience managing people and resources, strong written and oral communication skills (including spelling and grammar), ability to work independently in a team environment, and an understanding of the necessity to meet stringent time deadlines.
The candidate must have proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project. Experience with Microsoft Project Server is not required; but is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of prior experience in a management role for a consumer software development organization with a minimum of 5 years overall relevant experience in the consumer software industry. A 4-year degree or equivalent is preferred, but not required in a related field. In-depth project management experience is essential. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated an ability to make sound engineering decisions and meet deadlines with a strong track record of success. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to look at problems and issues from outside the box is mandatory. Outstanding verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills are a necessity.

The Product Line Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of product line vision and strategies to support strategic and financial objectives. This position will work closely with Development, Sales, and Marketing to develop strong product plans and manage their go to market strategy to meet revenue forecasts. In addition, he/she will own the product line and assume a key leadership role in their future direction.
Responsibilities
- Serve as product line champion within the organization and demonstrate clear ownership of the product line from initial concept development.
- Develop business plans, product strategies and profitable business models. Develop product budgets, financials and P&Ls for the products to establish accurate forecasts and profitable business models. Track results of these objectives and ensure products stay on track
- Identify and establish business relationships that enhance the product offering from either a revenue or technology perspective.
- Work with international business units to capture their specific country / region market needs.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop market research questions, implement and interpret results and be able to formulate well-supported recommendations that impact the business.
- Work with the Marketing team to conduct thorough market and competitive analysis.
- Develop clear product positioning statements and communication strategies.
- Develop product launch strategy, arrange for outside distribution arrangements if appropriate, give input to Marketing Dept regarding pricing decisions.
- Product life cycle management in collaboration with inventory planning and production.

Systems Administrator |

Description: The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the IT infrastructure as well as maintaining, upgrading, and configuring all the computers, software, and servers used by Nova staff. This position is also responsible for maintaining security (internal and external) and backups. The Systems Administrator also ensures expeditious and successful response to all end user Help Desk needs including managing the efforts of technical staff members assisting with Help Desk. This position reports directly to the IT Director.
The key responsibilities are:
- Ensure smooth running of all servers:
- Windows: Domain, File, Web, Print, Exchange, and SQL
- Linux: DNS
- Others: Citrix Presentation Server, Macintosh, and JD Edwards OneWorld
- Perform upgrade of systems and servers, and install and configure network hardware.
- Determine needs and recommend the purchase of computers, software, and peripherals. Negotiate with vendors for the best prices.
- Ensure the timely and consistent backup and storage of all important company data using Backup Exec.
- Implement security policies to maintain internal and external security.
- Automate Windows administration tasks, such as security auditing, Exchange / SMTP tasks, login scripts.
- Implement and monitor compliance of company-wide licensing policy to prevent unauthorized installation or use of unlicensed software.
- Comprehensively document all server hardware and software configurations, implementing Configuration Management and enforcing Change Control for all changes.
- Enforce IT policies and procedures, specifically in the areas of Change Control, Help Desk, and Disaster Recovery.
- Work with IT Director and Executive Management to plan and update Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures.
- Pay special attention to the technology needs of the CEO and President ensuring an expeditious and successful response to their needs.
- Ensure expeditious and successful response is provided to all end user Help Desk needs with Windows or Mac client computers. Determine needs, source and manage efforts of technical staff members assisting with Help Desk.
- Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain JD Edwards OneWorld.
- Be available as needed for emergency situations that may arise, even beyond your normal work schedule.
- Oversee system and software orientation for new hires as well as any ongoing software training needs required for staff development.

Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in similar position covering the scope of the above key responsibilities. Excellent ability to work autonomously using independent judgment and strong problem solving skills in all areas as described above. Bachelor’s degree desired.
